When conflict arises it’s very easy to shut down.
When we feel threatened, we can be like a sea anemone in the ocean, reactively contracted when something crosses a certain threshold or proximity.
Part of our journey as people living wakeful lives, is that we can share our point of view and learn from it through communicating respectfully with others.
Often when we contract habitually from a situation, we cannot feel our body our presence in this space, feeling this definitely softens us. It allows us to have a proper respectful relationship with another person.
Do we trust communication? When we don’t trust communication, are we in touch with our body?
Being in touch with our sensations and body, is
how we become sensitive and know what to say, and what not to say.
