Reflection
From the Lojong Slogan, Don’t wallow in self pity, which members of our Online Sangha discussed on Sunday morning.
When we take ourselves too seriously and we have a strong agenda, we start to build our case and a story about why something should go a certain way, but reality is the ultimate bureaucracy, it can’t be challenged, things are as they are, we can fight with that all we like…it wouldn’t change anything. Things are the way they are, so can we open our heart to say “Let me relate to reality as it really is. Let me see things as they really are.”
What would it be like to open your heart in this way and invite yourself to relate to reality as it really is, to see things as they really are?
