Hello and welcome to this week’s online weekly newsletter!
Sunday Online Workshop
A namthar is a spiritual biography or hagiography in Tibetan Buddhism. Namtar is a contraction of nampar tharpa which literally means ‘complete liberation’. This name refers to the fact that the texts tell stories of yogis or Indo-Tibetan Mahasiddha who attained complete enlightenment. For us they function as a way of seeing our own lives and journeys. We will share some key points of our spiritual life, and in doing so we deepen our connection with each other in community, as well as coming into contact with the sacredness of our mission and deepening our inspiration and compassion together!
Hope you can join us! Register here.
Let’s take a Mindful Moment together right now, shall we?! What do you notice as you do this?
Gentleness is key here. It’s absolutely fine if – or more likely when – the story reasserts itself. Just notice, pause, and let it dissolve again. And again! Gentle, gentle, gentle.
Ecology of the Heart – New Series On the Blog
Ecology of the Heart Part 6 is on the blog! Have you seen it yet? Check it out! Share it with a friend or on social media!
Over the past month, I’ve been sharing a series of posts on Ecology of the Heart. In the world of people who practice meditation already, we have such a possibility of being humble beacons for a culture of caring for our planet and being part of that network that goes well beyond whichever community we might think we affiliate with or are a part of. We’re all a part of one giant community. This series is an exploration of how we might begin to do that.

Meditation Coaching
How is your meditation practice going? What is coming up for you as you practice? What obstacles are you encountering? Where would you like to feel more confident?
Here is a video with more information about meditation coaching and how it can help you learn which mindfulness and awareness techniques can best help you navigate your life, unlock obstacles, and grow in your potential in all areas of your life! You can also book a session here.
Reflection
From the Lojong Slogan, In postmeditation, be a child of illusion, which members of our Online Sangha discussed on Sunday morning.
You might use the words as the object of meditation for a few moments, noticing what other words, images, sensations arise. When you feel ready let the words and images and sensations go, and just rest in whatever has arisen for you.
And last but not least, a smile to take with you…
Take good care and see you next week!
