HELLO AND WELCOME TO THIS WEEK’S ONLINE WEEKLY NEWSLETTER!
Let’s take a MINDFUL MOMENT together…
So often our minds are in the future or even the past rather than on what is right in front of us, what we’re engaged in right in this moment. What does it feel like to bring your mind into the present moment with your body?
On the Blog
Ecology of the Heart Part 9 is on the blog! Check it out! Share it with a friend or on social media! Stay tuned for Part 10!

Maitri Bhavana/Healing and Compassion Practices are now open to the public!
We have some news for you! We’re opening up our Saturday Morning Maitri Bhavana/Healing and Compassion Practices session to the public! Please feel free to bring a friend! Email Janet for the link!
For the remainder of the summer, we’ll offer one session only, from 9:00-9:30 am eastern and revisit offering a second midday session again in the fall. The schedule will be as follows:
1st Saturday of the month: Maitri and Compassion Practice
2nd Saturday of the month: Just Like Me Practice
3rd Saturday of the month: Tonglen Practice
4th/5th Saturday of the month: Other/Maitri Bhavana*
*Maitri Bhavana will always be the last Saturday of the month unless there is a special request for it at another time. If there are five Saturdays, we’ll do a different compassion/healing practice on the 4th Saturday.
I’m so proud of my students, these wonderful beings who carve out time every Saturday morning to practice opening their hearts and dissolving the barriers between self and other. Here they are practicing Tonglen this past weekend.

Meditation Coaching
A meditation coach is someone who helps you use mindfulness and awareness techniques to help navigate your life, to help you grow in your potential and unlock obstacles, to help you with a particular skill set.
The wonderful thing about the practice of meditation is that you can use it to do just about anything, because we do everything with our heart and mind. Our entire experience of how we perceive the world is governed by how we work with our own heart and mind.
Meditation really does turn being alive into an art form. It doesn’t mean all of our problems go away, or our suffering, but the way we work with them changes, and it is a delight for me to help people realize and fulfil their potential.
Here is a video with more information about meditation coaching and how it can help you learn which mindfulness and awareness techniques can best help you navigate your life, unlock obstacles, and grow in your potential in all areas of your life! You can also book a session here.
Reflection
From our online sangha’s exploration of The 37 Practices of a Bodhisattva – Authors Intention on Sunday July 18. What arises for you as you contemplate this?
One more MINDFUL MOMENT to take with you into your day…
You might pause and check in with yourself whenever you think of it as you go about your day and ask yourself these questions, perhaps even recording or journaling what arises each time.
Take good care and see you next week!
