When you are in a place do you feel it?

She has a way of placing you in the magic of an environment. How do you feel when you are in one part of the forest or another?
Simply becoming aware of the subtle differences in how you feel in different environments is part of mindfulness and awareness practice.
Indigenous wisdom traditions throughout history have understood that the land and the different aspects of it have specific qualities or character. In the modern world sometimes we are not even aware of our surroundings even if they are very much affecting us.
So to slow down and realize what is all around us see and feel and hear, but beyond even the sense organs, to notice the intangible energetic quality is a subtle sense organ of awareness. Whatever ideas we have about our reality when we stop and feel, we come in contact with something beyond our ideas, something primal and primordial.
In Tibet there was an entire culture that understood the experience of unseen beings.
When you think about your own being it’s somewhat unseen,
in that perhaps we’ve never seen our mind as an object?
If we look for it, we find there’s nothing but a living, unstructured, crystalline feeling-knowing.
All the various aspects and qualities that emerge expressing this range of possibilities is part of our sensitivity.
The delightful connection and love we treasure as humans, so rely on this same subtle attentiveness.
What is heard when we listen more deeply and openly?
When we are curious about our experience and others we start to wonder what are others also sensing ?
